Birkenhead for shopping this morning. Coffee and carbs at the Williamson where the maritime gallery appears to have had a revamp. Never enough time do the place justice but at least that keeps us coming back.

A spacious, well-lit museum gallery features various sculptures, including busts and a tall wooden totem-like piece, along with display cases containing artwork. A whimsical frog figure wearing a hat and a shirt sits on a wooden stool, meticulously painting a small architectural model on a desk. A wooden display cabinet houses a collection of intricately decorated ceramic and porcelain vases, jugs, and figurines, arranged neatly on glass shelves with bright lighting. A display case and drawers contain detailed miniature ship models and a layout of a dockyard or harbor.
